A detailed lesson that starts by looking at Jesus Baptism by John the Baptist. The lesson then looks at the two types of baptism complete with a collaborative learning activity. There’s a suggested video clip and instructions. I have also included an opportunity for debate as regards the age someone should be baptised. The lesson ends with a set of short answer exam questions as a plenary Outcomes: Must: describe why Baptism is an important sacrament Should: link the story of Jesus baptism to why baptism is symbolically important Could: Evaluate the reasons behind why different groups of Christians perform baptism in different ways.

The lesson also comes with exam style questions and exemplars. This could serve as a great starting point to revelation. A choice of 2 styles of worksheet have been added. For one task you can print off the worksheet on the PowerPoint slide Outcomes: Must: define and give examples of different types of revelation.
